Intro Call
A 30-minute conversation with our Founder, Emily Slade, to understand your goals, the family member being honored, and the stories you want preserved. We discuss locations, interview style, memorabilia, and tone.
Creative Proposal
You receive a custom narrative outline, production schedule, and budget tailored to your family.
The Shoot
We prepare thoughtful interview questions.You choose who asks them — you, a family member, or our team. We film in your home or other meaningful locations for your family with cinematic lighting and audio, always unobtrusive.
The Edit
We digitize and incorporate photos, letters, videos, awards, and heirlooms. You receive a first cut within 3 weeks and a final within 6 weeks. All raw material is returned and wiped from our drives.
Commissioning
A Documentary
We approach every film as a fully bespoke project.
Each story is unique — and so is the production behind it. The scope is customized based on the number of people we interview, the locations we shoot in, and the depth of archival materials we incorporate.
Documentaries range from 60-120 minutes long and pricing begins at $50,000 for a single-day production and can scale into multiple days and locations. We will provide you with a quote after our introductory call. We take on a limited number of commissions each year to ensure a deeply personalized and discreet experience for every family.
